Honey's Sit N Eat

Have two hours to wait for a table? Good, cause you'll need it if you're looking to dine at Honey's. Luckily, the food more than makes up for the excessive wait time and the perfectly portions are brought to you quickly and sweetly by the team of bonafide breakfast experts that they call a waitstaff. Tip: The smaller your party, the quicker your wait. We've wedged our way to a table in under 20 minutes with a two-person party.

Sabrina's Cafe

As much as Philly loves Sabrina's, we were prepared for a let down when we hit the original location on Callowhill. Not to be outdone, they pulled out all the stops with crispy homefries and the best stuffed French toast known to man. Or us, at least.
Tip: Another place known for notoriously lengthy wait times--go for take-out if you're in a rush.

Green Eggs

Rivaling those dime-a-dozen chain restaurants in portion size, Green Eggs will feed you and your five closest friends with just one order of their killer breakfast burrito. And really, order up--the prices are ridiculously low for the amount of food (and deliciousness) that'll land on your table.
Tip: You won't find it on the menu, but try the chicken and waffles combo when they're serving it on special. Best.meal.ever.

Race Street

No-frills, maybe, but the street-side seating in one of our favorite parts of Old City makes Race Street just as good for late night drinks as it is for late morning brunch. Order an omelette and go for extra cheese.
Tip: Sit outside. There will probably be 10 tour buses that pass you during your meal, but quietly mocking the hoardes of tourist-y crowds is great fun.
208 Race Street

Parc

The sunglasses-wearing waiter suggested I go for the Brioche French Toast. I did, and I never looked back. Get a post-bended jolt with a minty iced coffee.
Tip: Get there early (and by early I mean, as they open) to score sidewalk seating.

Ants Pants

From the freshly squeezed juice to the gigantic waffles, Ants Pants is one of our favorite spots for brunch. But, be forewarned: if you end up at the counter spots, you'll most likely be seated within elbow range of other diners--and facing a wall. It's worth it for the food, though.
Tip: Bring cash. The place doesn't take credit cards, a fact only made worse by the ATM machine that basically forces you to look at your account balance for a full 30 seconds.
2212 South Street

Mixto

Believe us when we say that there are no better huevos rancheros than those you'll find at Mixto. Top it off with an expertly mixed Bloody Mary for good measure (or hangover relief).
Tip: Make reservations - they're usually packed during brunch hour.
