July 1st: Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Most people see the films as 160 minutes of CGI action; Michael Bay sees it as Oscar-worthy cinematic glory that will give The Godfather a run for it’s money. Don’t waste your unless you really hate Chicago and want to see it destroyed... or really loved Transformers 2.

July 8th: Horrible Bosses
This movie is about a group of fed up workers trying to kill their crappy bosses. Seems like a plot people can relate to with a star-studded cast to go along with it, though, Charlie Day being in it should be reason enough to shell out the money for a ticket.

July 15th: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
If you’re a Harry Potter fanatic who dresses up to see the midnight showing then I’m sure you don’t need any convincing. To everyone else, seven books and seven movies will culminate with this probably epic eighth movie of the series. Who do you have, Voldemort or Harry Potter?

July 15th: Lucky
This is like the dark version of that movie Lottery Ticket. Colin Hanks is Tom Hanks son so hopefully he acquired those great acting genes because it looks like a pretty unique plot.

July 22nd: Friends With Benefits
Seems like a solid plot for a movie to me. Just show Mila Kunis in lingerie in the trailer then basically say how her and Justin Timberlake are going to have sex the whole movie. I’m thinking everything will be going great until 25 minutes left in the movie and they’ll have a fight. Later, they will reunite and realize they actually love each other... no really.
See it.

July 22nd: Captain America: The First Avenger
You might be still feeling patriotic after July 4th but unless you loved the comic books, this movie adaptation should be like every other mediocre Marvel Comic adaptation. Iron Man and Spider Man were exceptions but others (Fantastic 4, Spider-Man 3, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer) were disappointing. What kind of super hero uses a gun?

July 29th: The Devil’s Double
Based on the true story of Suddam Hussein’s son and his body double, Latif Yahia who is actually not played by Queen Latifah. This should be pretty entertaining and disturbing to see a glimpse into the life of Uday Hussein.

August 5th: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes
James Franco plays an atypical role in this Sci-Fi drama in which apes go wild in San Francisco. Charles Darwin would have made this movie if he could have or maybe he would have evolved it...or something.

August 5th: The Change-Up
In some Linsday Lohanless Freaky Friday type rip-off, Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman switch lives. Should be okay but I’m guessing that they are going to realize they liked their lives they way they were before. Shocker.

August 10th: The Help
The seemingly feel good story film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s 2009 novel. It tells of courageous women from Jackson, Mississippi working to overcome racial inequalities.

August 12th: Final Destination 5
Somehow I missed Final Destination installments two through four but I think I know what to expect. They cheated death and they are being killed of in random ways but in successive order. Maybe I’ll go see Final Destination 6.

August 26th: Our Idiot Brother
Paul Rudd is really funny. Actually, he’s really really funny and playing the role we all want to see him in- crazy, idiot brother
