It’s not hard to imagine how different our city’s image would be if the likes of YouTube and high-speed internet were around for such Philly classics like when Birds fans pelted Santa in 68’ or when Phils fans made the not-so-classy decisions to throw batteries at the team’s only minority player, Dick Allen.

But even though those viral video opportunities are long gone (whew), Philly still has some internet cred to boast of when it comes to memes and viral videos. Below is a compilation of some the best viral videos that managed to seep their way onto the interwebs. As you can probably guess, they don’t all provide for a rosy portrayal of the city but hey, no one ever claimed we were the nice guy.
