Monday Night Football: DO's and DON'Ts

- DON'T wait until the last minute. The bars are packed, the fans (for better or worse) are well past their third round of drinks and you're never going to get a spot at the bar past 7:30pm.

- DO your homework. Your favorite neighborhood gastropub (read: Hipster bar) probably isn't your best bet for watching a football game. Hipsters need football like they need Justin Beiber's Christmas album.

- DON'T wear a McNabb Eagles jersey. We don't care if it was autographed, worn, signed, sealed and delivered by Donovan himself. That jersey is no longer welcome here; especially tonight.

- DO order food. The kitchen will be cranking out wings and other fried deliciousness in full force. Get your stomach full of food before you start downing the 22-ouncers, and before 400 of your closest friends put their orders in first.

- DON'T stay home. That's what the Sunday late game is for. It's also for those of you who are pretending to be football fans but are really just watching Gossip Girl. Not cool.

- DO bring your friends. We're all about camaraderie. And besides, who else is supposed to help you take down that pack of Redskins fans at the corner of the bar?
